Oh probably a year ago I was able to go to a friends house and we learned to do very crafty things........ one of them was to make a rag rug. After a year of trial and error I think I have finally figured out how to make them and they look OK. I made this one form a set of thrifted twin sheets and some of a solid green one I had left from others. It was my favorite until I made one today and now that's my most favorite. Have pics and will post them later.
The thing I LOVE about these is they are machine washable and hang dry so you can put them anywhere! But they are slick on bare floors so you have to use a pad or whooops .....there you go!
This is a picture of the first one I make and the this one next to each other, you cant really tell in the picture but the one on the bottom is much nicer. I started sewing the ends together instead of tying them and they are a smoother rug, no weird ends hanging out everywhere. I like it much better!
