Contact has been Made!

CORY CALLED! YEAH! CORY CALLED!

Contact has finally been made! Cory called home and wonder of wonders.................we were home and using a land line so the call was not dropped or otherwise terminated!

He said he was doing fine, qualified as a marksman on the rifle and expert with a grenade. He is squad leader so he said he is working hard. He only has 4 more weeks and he is all done. He sounded excited about moving on to AIT. It was great to hear his voice. He sounded good!

He said he had pictures taken and they would be ready in a couple of weeks, so everyone will see them here first!

Just wanted everyone to know Cory finally called and got everyone! I am so thankful! He is doing great! Keep him in your prayers!

Our IKEA trip

Jessey, Elizabeth and Caitlyn and I went to IKEA last week. Jessey had never been so we decided to take her. For those that don't know Jessey, she is Cory's girl friend. We took a bunch of pictures to send to him! we ran around the store doing silly poses and snapping off cute shots of everyone! Here are just a few..............

Green Green everywhere!

A friend of ours from Church offered to let us come pick some beans!
So early this morning, before the girls even woke up off I went!
Picked this pile of green beans and even snagged a few cukes.





Got home before the girls even knew I was gone.
Lets see...........for dinner I'm thinking teriyaki beans....YUMMMMM!

Todays Adventure

Went to the mall! Check out Caitlyn's SWEET RIDE.





We stayed until Caitlyn fell asleep in the car!





When we got home after a bath and dinner, she cuddled up with her new build a bear~ Bearie
( I know not very original but Caitlyn can remember it and even say it!)





And of course her always present CROCS!

Fashion Show

We had a fashion show last night.

Please notice the runway! Beth and Caitlyn modeling their new clothes.




These outfits are not new they just match and they wanted to show us!

Here are Caitlyns new shoes, we found them on clearance!
She sleeps in them and even takes a bath in them, I guess that means we will get some wear out of them!?!




She had fallen asleep on the couch one day and her passy fell out of her mouth, usually means she is out!!
Beth thought that it would be OK to take her shoes off,
before she could get the back strap off
she woke up saying "shoos shoos"




All I can say is WHAT A MESS!!

3rd time's a charm!

Well we finally did it! I mean she finally did it! After two ear piercing fiasco's we are on our third try.

The last two were not really her fault, but now she is old enough to keep up with them herself. I told her now her ears match her personality....SPARKLY!

Oh So Blue........

My best friend went to Florida to visit her mother and she brought me back a bounty! 2 gallons of Blueberries! She gave them to me yesterday at church so I have been dreaming of what I could make........................

Our Fourth!

We spent our Fourth at the pool!

We were invited to swimming at Dee Dee's Mom and Dad's (Marie and Charles)

So we loaded up and hit the pool!

We had a GREAT time and Caitlyn was all smiles!!

Caity~bug eating watermelon. She loved it!

Then we ran out for some food and met back at Mike and Dee Dee's house for fireworks.

Beth spent the night with Savannah and Misty so she had a good time.

Caitlyn less than 5 min after we left the driveway! Wish I could have joined her.

We had a wonderful day!
